As a professional writer, I have helped give voice to the stories of refugees, victims of sex trafficking and families in extreme poverty . I have written from bars, brothels, slums and villages in  Thailand and Cambodia.

Words are my medium: they create miracles and move hearts. I have witnessed it.  But I have also walked the path of struggling to speak my truth. I have spent a lifetime summoning the courage to be authentic with my voice. 

The creative life is my wellspring, full of beauty and small moments of noticing. 

My debut memoir, Darling Humans will be published in August 2025 .
